Managing the Needs of Patients Living with Frailty Who Present to the Emergency Department “Every Hour Counts”

Date: Thursday 1st June, 2017

Venue: Robert Adams Lecture Theatre, Beaumont Hospital

Time: 9:30am – 4:00pm (registration 9:00am – 9:30am)

Beaumont Hospital invites you to attend a workshop focused on effectively managing patients living with frailty. The workshop will be hosted by the Frailty Intervention Therapy Team (FITT).

Speakers include:

- FIT Team members from each of the Health and Social Care Professions

- Emergency Department Medical and Nursing Team members

- Consultant Geriatrician

- Patient Experience

The workshop will also include:

- Open forum for discussion with other professionals who are currently thinking about or in the process of setting up similar front door frailty services in their workplaces.

- Interactive group sessions in the afternoon, focusing on case discussions.
