Practice Education Conference - Call for Abstracts!!

The National Health and Social Care Professions Office is hosting a conference on practice education and is now issuing a call for abstracts:

Making practice education work for you: interprofessional perspectives

The conference will be open to all those with an interest in the education of health and social care professionals in practice.

The conference will include keynote speaker, Prof. Lindy McAllister, a speech pathologist with a PhD in clinical education and supervision. Her current research activities include: models of student placements, education and support of placement supervisors.

There will also be short presentations and poster viewing.

We welcome poster submissions that focus on the theme of the conference, by email.

1. Poster presentations Please submit a 300 word abstract on the template provided. (See Document Attached)

When: Thursday, 26th July, 2018

Where: Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland,123 St. Stephen’s Green,Dublin 2.

Admission is free

Submissions to: by Tuesday, 17th April, 2018, with notification of outcome by mid May2018

It is hoped to have about 100 delegates attend this conference.
Registration for the conference will open on the HSCP hub from Monday, 28th May, 2018
