Developmental Language Disorder SIG Study Day - 28th January 2019 - Portlaoise

The next Developmental Language Disorder SIG study day will be held on Monday 28th of January 2019 in the Parish Centre, Portlaoise (9.30am – 3.30pm).

On the day we will have presentations on the topics of: “Older children with DLD and their perceptions of SLT” and also  “Seeing the wood from the trees: a case study on the exploration of DLD presenting in the CAMHS context”.

A representative from ‘Talk to me More’ an educational software company providing tools and services to support a child's early development will give an overview of their work and the planned development of software tools.

We will also have a facilitated discussion regarding the assessment and identification of DLD and also feedback from the IASLT DLD Implementation Group. SLTs need to email in advance of the study day if they wish to attend this event.
