IASLT are delighted to announce two Hanen Talkability Workshops taking place in December 2019.
Hanen TalkAbility is a two-day professional development workshop for Hanen Certified speech-language therapists who work with children ages 3-7 with high-functioning autism. The TalkAbility Advanced Workshop provides an approach to helping these children develop fundamental social skills and certifies SLT’s to offer the TalkAbility Program for parents of verbal children on the autism spectrum.
16th and 17th December 2019: Workshop full - registering does not guarantee that you will receive a place. All applications will be reviewed before places are allocated.

Workshop Location: Portlaoise
Who can apply: SLTs working in the publicly funded health service in the relevant clinical area. SLT’s must be able to apply the learning within their work environment and CPD must have an impact on the service, service user and SLT.
This CPD is part funded by the National HSCP Office.
If you are successful in receiving a place a payment of €120 will be requested.
Prerequisite: SLT's must have completed More Than Words training.
