Dear IASLT Members,
Please find IASLT guidelines on Telepractice (SEE DOCUMENT ATTACHED)  -  Thank you to our MRA colleagues in RCSLT and SPA for sharing their documents with us and allowing access to IASLT members.
This morning, IASLT Council wrote to Dr Colm Henry, Chief Clinical Officer, HSE on key elements of safeguarding SLT care in relation to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in relation to assessment and treatment of: dysphagia, endoscopy, tracheostomy, laryngectomy, etc.
Members are urged to keep uptodate with COVID-19 through Irish Public Health Recommendations on the Department of Health Websites
Council would like to remind members of current IASLT policies, in particular IASLTs Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics. Members may want to also review their IASLT membership benefit of Fitness to Practice and Public Indementy insurances through our broker Glennons
Council understand that many members are also now redeployed within the HSE. Thank you. The dedication and willingness to serve is heartening and inspirational.
IASLT will endeavour to share information as quickly as possible. Council appreciate the urgency of queries, however council members volunteer their time on behalf of our professional body and are also on the front line of this crisis.  Thank you for your support and continued contributions as members.
Thank you to all members currently openly sharing information on social media.  We'll see you on twitter @iaslt.
