Post-graduate diploma in Disability and other opportunities with UCD, funded by the NHSCPO

Following on from the huge demand in request for funding earlier this summer for the Neurodiversity Certificate in UCD, the HSCP Office are delighted to be in a position to offer additional funded training opportunities in the area of Disability to Health and Social-Care Professionals , including SLTS who are working in publicly funded healthcare settings. Please read below and click on links for further information.

In the area of Disability, UCD are offering a variety of training options. There is a post-graduate diploma in Disability available where students complete 6 core modules and then have the opportunity to proceed to complete an MSc if desired. See the following link:

There is also the option to study five of these modules as individual professional certificates – see link: https://www.ucd.ie/psychology/ucdcentrefordisabilitystudies/professionalcertificates/. Two of these start this month and the other 3 commence in early 2024.

While the PG Diploma, Prof Cert in Disability Legislation and Policy, and Prof Cert in Advanced Disability Studies modules start this month, there is still the potential to get a places if you apply immediately.

Therefore we are asking anyone who would like to apply for funding for either of these 3 options to submit the  application form by 20/09/23 @ 12pm to cpd.hscp@hse.ie

 

Applications for the remaining 3 Prof Certs must be submitted by 6/10/23 @ 5pm to cpd.hscp@hse.ie
