A European Survey of Dysphagia Care and Management

My name is Sandra Brandon and I am a PhD Candiate at the University of Galway.

This online survey is collecting information from allied health professionals (AHPs) across Europe in relation to management of swallowing disorders (dysphagia).

Data collected from this survey will be used to gain insight into the professional and educational background of AHPs involved in dysphagia management. In addition, information will be gathered on clinical expertise, work environment, continuous professional development and dysphagia screening and treatment.

Findings from this online survey will assist in providing information to assist the development of future recommendations for university training and continuing professional development in dysphagia management for relevant allied health professionals. We hope that findings from this project will ultimately make a contribution to improving health and quality of life for people with dysphagia.
